Portraits in the Park: Broward County Locations
Portraits in the Park: Our Favorite Broward County Locations
Our Portraits in the Park mini sessions bring professional photography to the most beautiful outdoor spaces in Broward County. Here's a look at the locations we love — and what makes each one special.
Tree Tops Park — Davie
Towering oak trees, wooden boardwalks, and open meadows make this one of our most requested locations. The dappled light through the tree canopy creates a soft, romantic quality that's perfect for family portraits and couples. Best time: late afternoon.
Secret Woods Nature Center — Dania Beach
A hidden gem. Butterfly gardens, winding boardwalks through mangroves, and a butterfly-friendly habitat that's alive with color. The varied scenery means we can capture multiple distinct looks without moving your car. Best time: mid to late afternoon.
Anne Kolb Nature Center — Hollywood
Expansive views over the Intracoastal, elevated observation decks, and coastal mangrove trails. This location gives us open sky backgrounds and lush greenery in the same session. Best time: golden hour (the observation deck at sunset is spectacular).
Vista View Park — Davie
One of the highest points in Broward County, built on a former landfill that's been transformed into rolling green hills. Wide-open skies, long grass, and elevation changes that create depth and dimension in photos. Best time: an hour before sunset for golden light across the hills.
Snyder Park — Fort Lauderdale
Recently renovated with butterfly gardens, open green spaces, and a peaceful pond. Less crowded than other parks, giving us privacy and flexibility. Best time: morning or late afternoon.
What to Expect at a Mini Session
Mini sessions are 25-minute shoots at a pre-selected location and date. We bring everything — you just show up. Multiple families book back-to-back, which is how we keep the price accessible.
